Comment Policy

Thanks for taking the time to read my comments policy.

If you have some thoughts about the content I post on my blog then I’d love to hear them!

Having you participate in the conversation is wonderful, I always love to know what my readers think.

Of course there are some who will seek out do-follow sites and think it’s as simple as a quick comment such as ‘Great post’ and bingo, they get a backlink. Well it isn’t that simple here,not to mention that Akismet catches most spam before I even see it.

It would be a waste of time for everyone to wade through junk comments so to avoid that here’s a simple policy outline:

Followed links will come into play after you contribute five nine approved comments. Don’t worry, you don’t need to write a novel, a masterpiece or add some genius comment; genuine is all I ask for whether that be said in five words or fifty. (Update: Due to an increasing amount of spammy comments the do follow attribute will come into play after 9 approved comments. Thank you to all my legitimate visitors and your comments, I appreciate you taking the time to converse with me and others here.)

Links will be removed that lead to sites that would be considered rated R+, hate sites, religious sites and any other sites generally considered to be offensive.

As much as I really want to share the love I won’t accept affiliate links in comments or author links.
